Fruits & Vegetables
We raise an incredibly varied selection of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. While we are not yet certified organic, we hope to be in the next couple seasons.
Out of respect for the farmers…
…that have invested the time and effort to go through the certification process, we don’t use the term organic to label our produce; but we do use organic growing practices. We use only organic potting soil and amendments as well as a minimal amount of organic fertilizer for areas our animals haven’t gotten to yet. We use no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides or pesticides.
Our produce is mainly available April through December.
We are making investments on season extension techniques to allow us to offer fresh produce year round. We have a limited amount of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries during their growing seasons. We are expanding those plantings but they take some time to mature. We also planted an orchard of apple, pear, peach, and apricot trees. We can’t wait to be able to offer tree fruit soon!
